Choosing the Right Radiator Size

Selecting the correct radiator size helps ensure your room heats efficiently and comfortably. The heat output of a radiator is measured in BTU (British Thermal Units) or Watts, which indicate how much heat the radiator can produce.

Smaller rooms such as cloakrooms or en-suites typically require lower heat output, while larger bathrooms and living spaces may require a radiator with a higher BTU rating.

When choosing a radiator, consider:

• Room size – larger rooms require higher heat output

• Ceiling height – higher ceilings may require additional heating capacity

• Insulation levels – well insulated rooms retain heat more effectively

Radiator Installation
