The Vitrano matt black double bi fold square shower enclosure provides a distinctive alternative to a conventional hinged or sliding enclosure. Two folding door assemblies meet at the front corner, creating a practical corner entrance that can be opened widely when required. The folding action reduces the amount of clear floor space needed around each door, making this design particularly useful where a toilet, basin or bathroom furniture sits close to the showering area.
Each door can open inwards or outwards, giving the customer greater flexibility when entering, leaving or cleaning the enclosure. The rise and fall mechanism lifts the doors slightly as they open, supporting smoother movement while helping the lower seals clear the shower tray. Magnetic seals meet at the corner to hold the doors securely together when closed.
The enclosure is manufactured from clear 6mm toughened safety glass with a protective NANO coating. This treatment helps water run more freely from the surface, reducing the build up of everyday water marks and soap residue. Regular cleaning is still required, but the coated glass should be easier to maintain than untreated glass.
Matt black aluminium wall profiles, matching hinges and twin bar handles give the enclosure a clean contemporary appearance. Zinc alloy hinges, stainless steel fixings and aluminium water bars complete the installation. The reversible design allows the enclosure to be configured to suit different bathroom layouts.
Available in five square sizes, the enclosure works particularly well in compact bathrooms, ensuites, holiday lodges and static caravan bathrooms where space must be used carefully. For lodge or caravan installations, the customer should confirm the available height, floor stability and wall structure with a qualified installer before ordering.
